Description
A 14-foot gaff cutter with a traditional jib and staysail rig, paired with a high peaked main carrying a generous sail area.
The hull is double chine with a raked transom and a long shallow keel with bilge runners which give extra purchase through the water when sailing to windward. The hull is finished in white and is also available in other colours like blue and green. Hempel red anti-fouling is applied as standard.
There is a choice of Iroku or Sapele hardwood for the gunwale, thwarts and foredeck. The thwarts are all sealed and foam filled for buoyancy.
The long keel and built-in ballast negates the need for a centre plate which permits a large spacious cockpit complimented by wide thwarts both across and down the sides of the boat.
There is a large easily accessible stern locker which is both waterproof and lockable and there is also a large covered storage area under the foredeck.
The hull, deck and mast fittings are all in high quality 316 stainless steel. Additionally, the keel and bilge runners are in stainless steel. The standing rigging is all in stainless steel and the running rigging in high-quality braid on braid rope. Rowlock sockets and rowlocks are supplied as standard.
The boat is supplied with a new trailer, CE certified, with easy recovery rollers and bunks and a powerful easy to use winch.
