GRP Structure
The hull is hand laid up solid laminate, re-enforced to take to the ground with bilge runners to provide stability when drying out. The deck is hand laid up 10mm balsa core re-enforced with marine ply pads in load areas with a non-skid finish moulded into the walk areas. The interior is a stipple flow coated finish. The hull to deck joint is a biscuit tin type, and through bolted with 316 stainless steel bolts.

Companionway
The companionway garage has a fixed 10mm lexan tinted hatch. The companionway slide is 10mm tinted lexan.

Rudder
The rudder is GRP, balanced, with a lifting ash laminated wood tiller.

Centre-plate
The centre-plate is a 20mm galvanised plate. The centre-plate system is fitted with a stainless steel wire strop to the stainless steel power winch. From the power winch an 8mm rope can be pulled from the cockpit working the 6 to 1 purchase.

Ballast
300 kgs of lead ballast are installed in the full-length keel area as per design specifications. The centerplate provides an additional 100 kgs ballast.

Gaff Rig
The spars are Douglas Fir. The main mast and spars comprise a hollow mast (with a hollow passageway for electrics), solid boom, gaff and bowsprit.

Upholstery
The upholstery comprises the V-berth and 2 quarter berth cushions and back rests (which double for cockpit cushions) made of high density foam & covered in blue / grey fabric. Storage bags are acrylic canvas and are mounted inside and outside the companionway and forward above the v-berth

Plumbing
A whale hand pump supplies fresh water to a removable stainless steel sink from a portable 10L tank stored below the V-berth.

Manual Bilge Pump
A manual bilge pump is plumbed so as to draw from the bottom of the keelson & discharge from a bronze through hull fitting above the waterline.

Standard Sail Away Boats are as above with Oxford Blue hulls, ivory decks and acrylic canvas mainsail cover. Specifications may change from time to time.

Hand over: At least a full 2 hours is spent with the new owners explaining the rigging, the contents of the hand book and full operation of the trailer. Each year we try to introduce a new range of additional accessories. See list below for latest update.

Upholstery upgrades
Upholstery upgrades are available from 205.00 including V.A.T. (20.0%). Please contact sales for further details. The standard interior upholstery included in the Sail Away boat price is plain Oxford Blue.

Delivery time
Delivery time is dependent on your position in the order book. Delivery dates are estimated on placement of the order.

Payment
A 2000.00 deposit is payable on placing an order. A 12000 payment is due on bonding of the hull and deck when we will issue your hull number and give you a definite delivery date. The balance is due 14 days prior to hand over.

Warranties
1 year workmanship and material defects (UK).

Ordering
We use the Standard Stock Boat Sales Contract supplied by the British Marine Federation. The BMF helps regulate the British marine industry. Their contract protects both the purchaser and the supplier.

The CE marked trailer's designed capacity gross weight is 1800Kg, and is a hot dipped galvanised, braked, single axle design. The axle has waterproof bearings complete with a fresh water flushing system. We have a number of options available for our trailer. These are detailed below, along with a more detailed description of the trailer.

Trailer Price is 2460.00 including V.A.T. (20.0%). Note this trailer is also suitable for a Cornish Shrimper!

Note in the past three years we have not supplied any boats without the spinlock upgrades!

	Our trailer for the Cape Cutter 19 was developed from the original South African design, as a lot of owners have stated how good this design was to use for launch and recovery. The unit is of a single axle hot dipped galvanised, braked, design with a central spine of rollers with two support beams either side of the bilge runners to support the hull. What we have done is develop and the bring the trailer in line with current EU legislation and improve significantly the braking system, which is illegal for the original South African trailers. The axle has waterproof bearings and a brake flushing system to be used following launching and recovery. This can be connected to a hose system to flush out any remaining salt water in the brake hubs. This is a standard feature, as well as stainless steel brake cables, forward winch and support handles. The trailer shown here includes our Continental option which is available at additional cost, which consists of four triangular sections, see below for further details.

	A view of the number board. This is is easily detachable for launching. The original South African design had integral lights which failed following a couple of immersions! The cost of this option is 85.00 including V.A.T. (20.0%), but also includes securing straps, as shown below. This photograph also shows the rear jockey wheel option, this is very useful for manoeuvring the trailer around by hand. It also stops the trailer from tipping up if disconnected from the towing vehicle when rigging when the owner is inside the boat, towards the stern! The cost of the jockey wheel option is 79.50 including V.A.T. (20.0%).
